Under the immediate supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing, the Sterile Processing Technician I cleans, sterilizes, assembles, and issues equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School graduate or certified equivalent (GED).
Experience:
Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
Licensure:
None required.
Certification:
Certified Registered Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
